Land Surveyor
Feenstra & Associates is a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm serving the Greater Grand Rapids area. We are looking for ambitious and self-motivated Land Surveyors for a full time position in our growing company.
Qualifications:
- Ability to gain a PLS license preferred, but not required
- 3 + years survey experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Resourceful problem solver focused on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with Robotic Total Stations and Trimble GPS
- AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
- Clean driving record and physical fitness to perform every-day field duties are essential

Civil Engineer

Internship Opportunity
Feenstra & Associates is a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm serving the Greater Grand Rapids area. We are looking for ambitious and self motivated interns who are interested in gaining real world experience in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related technical fields. This position is a great opportunity for students to learn from experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and better understand how engineering and surveying projects move from planning to completion.
Qualifications:
- Actively seeking a degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Interest in civil engineering, land surveying, land development, construction, or field work
- Willingness to learn from experienced engineers, surveyors, and field crews
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS equipment, or survey field work is a plus, but not required
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to assist with office or field related tasks
